Meathead, The lemmings response to your message from another writer is reasonable and correct. There is a lot of beurocratic inertia among ignorant suits. The techs in MIS are often early adopters of AMD kit as they buy with their own $ and not corporate $.
The walls are eroding. dell has not been there long enough to be unassailable....look at IBM and how the dell model switched them on economic grounds.
Now others will do the dell model, as good as or better than dell and Dell will lose share as others force their way in. Thoise used to huge year on year growth with dell will have lower horizons and lower SP multiples.
This has been reflected in the Dell SP already. It will not go far from where it is now, maybe a little lower is all.
