For a smart, articulate (or should that be "articulated"?) lawyer, he is displaying an unusual obtuseness. I must assume it is intentional. He claims to see no difference between execution and torture. Amazing. He's trying to make you see the point. I am very good at seeing points, particularly those on top of DPs. :-) The problem here is that he doesn't have one. At least not a valid one.
