Is this confirmation of the facial recognition I saw at Comdex in November?
MARYLAND FACING UP. The Public Safety and Correctional Services Department is using the DCTrack facial recognition system to capture images of crime-related data such as mug shots, bodily marks, composite sketches, and crime scene and surveillance photos.
The system, developed by Identix Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Anadac Inc. of Arlington, Va., runs under NT 4.0. It files images with data in the state?s fingerprint identification system, Anadac law enforcement director Erin Phelps said. gcn.com
