Brad, Lets look at this story again - Biometrics may make keys obsolete (featuring MOT and IDX) -
web.lexis-nexis.com

Let's look at some quotes -

"Motorola has agreements with Identix of Sunnyvale, Calif., to make fingerprint-reading systems with the new chip that can be sold to computermakers, auto manufacturers and OTHER INDUSTRIES for $ 20 or less." (my emphasis)
.
.
.
"As more business is done over the Internet via computers, cell phones, pagers and OTHER DEVISES, the ability to make an ironclad confirmation of someone's identity will become more crucial." (my emphasis)
.
.
.
"Besides computers, Grant Evans, Identix's vice president and general manager, said he expects his company's products to appear at retail checkout counters and in CABLE BOXES to expedite online purchases through TVs." (my emphasis)

Now, let's look at this release from MOT - please read it carefully

Motorola Sees Huge Growth in Broadband
dailynews.yahoo.com

GIC is a set-top box maker and I would say set-top boxes is very much one of those OTHER DEVICES (CABLE BOXES) Grant Evans was talking about!

If my arithmetic is right I'm getting 2+2=5.

What do you think? Is MOT going to deliver the goods for us or what? The future is becoming more clear every day.

Go IDX/ MOT!!

Rick
