Nope, at least not by throwing it blindly. But with real planning, perhaps the money could be applied wisely.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do just fine in life. Looking back as I approach my 23rd B-day (tomorrow), I've earned a full scholarship to a pretty good university, gotten a great job which I managed to keep all the way through college, gotten a SEP-IRA and medical and dental insurance, bought a house, a new car, and most of the toys I've ever wanted. However, I'm bummed out to see others who don't have enough to eat or can't get an education or proper dental care or many other things.

Perhaps what defines a conservative is the ability to drive through the slums of one's city and not feel any ounce of sadness, or to walk by a beggar in Manhattan and not even think about throwing a quarter in his cup.
