Eric, Joe ... PMFJI ... it's probably got a good chance of going a lot higher very soon now. I think you should wait until after the 'analysts' get done digesting the announcments to be made at the Java/Internet Business exposition this week. Keynotes by Eric Schmidt and John M Thompson (VP IBM) ... if these folks do & say what I expect then the near future competitive landscape will start to look much better for Novell by next week ... I don't really expect a 'buyout' ... but if one was going to happen, these two folks would be holding one of the key meetings. I think we should watch for the overall industry reaction to MSFT's intention to 'stifle' Java by refusing to support the JavaSoft JVM within Windows ... I hope that we hear what the major players intend to do ... a JVM that does NOT require Windows, just an Intel Platform and probably IntraNetware would be a very positive turn of events.
