its stands for " parobolic sar " ......its a chart setting...it shows up as " dots" on your charts...... it like a moving average... you can read all the technicals about it you want......but you may not understand it...... i gave it my own twist.....and tweeked it to a system i use and understand with plenty of trial and error...... i've explained it the best i can with many post.....but things i see...others may not...... but with time.....i think everybody will get the drift...
