How about holding on to 1500 shares of JDSU in 1995 at a presplit price
of 50 cents?

:)

Oh well, I bought a ton of NN---->ALA... instead...
( which I also sold too soon ...vbg..)

to sell too soon,".

Good luck with NUFO,

I haven't placed a trade for sometime. I would get demolished trying to time this market. Just holding. Since I don't plan or need to use my investments for a long time (5, probably 10 years) I a quite comfortable that our favorite stocks will blow past their highs. It's only a matter a TIME. It may take 1 year, it may take 5 years, but we'll get there.

I was thinking this morning about the 10K shares in SDLI I bought back in Nov. 1998, at about 4 split-adjusted, and how much smarter it would have been to just hold. I'm nibbling on NUFO and this time I plan to learn from my past mistakes. :)

I was wondering why the thread was so quiet, so checked Ottawa weather:
