Maybe it didn't start that way...but it has scope krept to that. And actually I don't really believe this either. Rummy, Wolfie, Pearle, Armitage and others wrote to Clinton urging war in Iraq in 1998. Bush has been manipulated into this situation and he can't back off anymore.

As we have shown with quotes in the past, Clinton supported regime change in Iraq as well if they didn't take their "last chance" to disarm in 1998. There is no manipulation involved...it's the right course of action. The fact that some key countries have decided to put their pocketbook before what's right should not deter us.
