GNSS was the top performing stock in my long term portfolio last year and CREE is on my buy list. I would greatly enjoy discussing the pros and cons of investing in (or attempting to put a valuation on) each--- but I guess I'm concerned that we might dilute this thread with essentially off topic discussions. I suppose with this thread's title that Don should express his opinion on whether or not we want to move away from Capital Equipment as the "sole" focus and shifting this discussion to a more open forum. Starting an off shoot thread to "seriously" discuss leading edge semi stock suggestions is another possibility. Likewise, resurrecting a "dead" thread and using that forum for stock discussion is another option. I certainly will defer to the consensus and I know I'll enjoy reading and, when possible, adding to the discussion here and/or elsewhere. mh
