And this is the connection that nobody has shown so far. Where is the evidence that Saddam's funds were used for illegal purposes?

BTW and hypothetically, if Saddam had personally donated money to organizations who were lobbying to ease the sanctions would you be accusing those organizations of illegal acts? There were a number of well respected people who were pushing for easing the sanctions on humanitarian grounds. Just because such a goal coincides with Saddam's, shall we call those honorable people Saddam's stooges?
