Of course not. To give a relevant example when it estimated the costs for Medicare Part D, it got them wrong, just as it did when it estimated the costs for government medical care programs that where passed with the Democrats in charge.

Democrats or Republicans in control, the CBO gets its estimates wrong in this area. Not necessarily to a greater extent that most other estimators, but enough that considering it an authoritative source is rather silly.
