Many times it means that the ones that are there are in a bit of a bind...and are short beyond what they want to be. They sometimes call in the calvary..and bring in some help to "get on top" of a stock and slow down the buying. I think that was the case here. Friday and yesterday it got away from them a bit... They know if they can hold the price and the buying slows up, eventually the profit takers and the short term traders will start to take some profits, giving them the opportunity to get back in control.
