Because as we all know, this is an infallible administration.

I don't claim they're infallible. I do believe they are the most competent administration of my 50 year lifetime. I doubt if we've seen a more competent foreign policy team in our nation's history.

That said, this road is fraught with peril. For example, many now believe it was a huge mistake to have gone to the UN with this matter. Bush first thought it was, but was advised by Powell to do it, and he made the decision. It looks like a mistake now.

It would be easy to point out lots of mistakes the administration has made. But NONE, NOT ONE, compares with the foreign policy mistakes of the previous administration. Or with the foreign policy disasters of the Carter or LBJ administrations. (Frankly, every significant foreign policy problem since 1963 was created by Clinton, Carter or LBJ).
