McCain is a liar when he says he backs Bush. If he backed Bush, he wouldn't keep saying nice things about Kerry and calling Bushies "corrupt" and "spending like drunken sailors". McCain may be loyal to the GOP, but he can't stand Bush. Bush was the one who ran dishonest ads in 2000 suggesting McCain was insane and a traitor. McCain will only say he's for Bush with his fingers crossed and his nose firmly held in hand. The entire GOP ought to wise up and back honest leaders like McCain instead of stinkers like Cheney-Bush who just can't tell the truth or keep from stealing our money.
