Yes, that confirms what I had heard. No native dialup support in 3.1, which is why you needed the floppy from your ISP. My sister signed up with AOL and isn't having too much luck. Not Irish. Can that be fixed?

Probably the reason you're not sure what I'm talking about is because the later versions of Windows have their own dialup tool called "dial-up networking". You just plug in the phone-number of your ISP, and that's it!
