AMerican Spirit, Lets face it, Saddam acted as if he had WMD for reasons of bravado. He wanted his neighbours to cower under their beds and stay in line with his plans for an Iraqi 'Reich'. Had he allowed full inspection and been a good boy he would still be killing and murdering his people today. So what to do? Let it go on? Let him say he has no WMD, and believe him? Not with his history of lies and deceit. So the USA/UK went in and closed down his murderous regime. As time goes by they will close down on more and more of the residual tribes that keep the bombing going. Bush and Blair went ahead on good grounds overall, not just for WMD, but for general good purposes. Bill
