I know what you mean... but I have to give it a try...
These damned idiots are attempting to make us all a bunch of whimps... I refuse... Once... I took off (from a standing stop on a traffic light) on first gear only to about 38 mph like a rocket... then kept it steady, the speed limit was 45 I knew the cop was two cars behind... -ggg
So naturally, (as the pigs they are), he stopped me... so I said... why are you stopping me ? he babbled and mumbled some bs about being "unsafe" I said why ? he said I was going over 50... so I said, that is physically impossible since I just accelerated using first gear only, and I can only go about 38 (plus/minus) in first gear... I broke no laws...
To make a long story short (arguing with the idiot)... he had no proof and had to let me go, (but I had to tell him that I would agree with him that it was unsafe otherwise he would make me go to court...)... so I said to myself... this is all about an ego trip from this idiot... so I said.. ok you win... and I will save the taxpayers their money... I will say that according to you this was not safe, but I broke no laws... he let me go (probably because he knew he could prove nothing.
Under normal circumstances, I have had little respect for "authority" (unless they've earned it), under current circumstances, I have my doubts as to who is more crooked... the cops, or the robbers... Mad Max has arrived... |
