Market share proof. Once upon a time IBM had ALL the market share in the PC business. In 2004 they got out of the PC business. NOW they have NO market share in the PC business.

You'd think from the savvy investors who talk market share 100% of the time that IBM is no longer in business.



Since that time MSFT has pretty much owned from 97 down to 90% of the PC business. Poor Apple has picked up what... about 7% since then? This is proof we should all HEED the wise council of those who understand that the metric of success is not money or profits... its market share.



Of course if we believed the market share pundits and those who declared apple was dead we'd have misses a 1625% gain.
