Immi, The options were granted to him by the company. The value of those options is, of course, determined by the market (collectively). However, he has no more responsibilty towards you than you have towards any other shareholder. Of course, two parties may wish for a mutually beneficial relationship. On this point I would say that perhaps the shareholders (especially the large, professional investors) should have taken care not to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, i.e., through the wild manipulations of the past 1 1/2 years providing a disincentive for employees holding options of no value. But some people have rather limited vision. Skipper
