It has taken the industry about a decade to get it's ISDN act
together and I'm still not sure they are there. The following
was announced this week indicating that the giants might be
waking up.

Bell Atlantic is offering free ISDN installation and reducing associated costs to consumers, through April 30. Prior to the promotion, Bell charged $125 for ISDN installation.

Bell Atlantic, which serves six mid-Atlantic states and Washington, D.C., is joining with 3Com in offering ISDN modems at a discount. The 3Com IQ External ISDN modem will cost $259, $40 below Bell Atlantic's normal price. (Bell Atlantic, Joan Rasmussen, 703/974-8815.
