Agree.. Tim Cook is an amazing supply chain guy - when Apple hired him from Compaq it was the start of the turn around.... and dealing with the dysfunction and personalities within AAPL after Jobs passed on has to be the ultimate challenge - Most of AAPL was leaderless cos Jobs was the leader.... over everything - even the Board shut up and did not ask questions. I think Tim does need to transition out or find a super loyal lieutenant with vision that Tim can protect. If he has such a lieutenant, I do not know who it is!
