PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 2003-- Santera, a Tekelec company (Nasdaq:TKLC), a leading provider of now- and next-generation carrier grade switching solutions, today announced that AtlasONE Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, an emerging provider of telecommunications services in Malaysia, will be utilizing SanteraOne for Class 5 traffic over its soon to be launched next-generation network. The network will initially service the Klang Valley district of Greater Kuala Lumpur, before a phased nationwide expansion. This is made possible by Santera's partnership with CommVerge Solutions, a leading network integrator in Asia.

With Santera's solutions, AtlasONE will focus on delivering reliable and cost-effective voice communications, always-on Internet access, customized domestic and global data solutions, and other value-added services.
