Best Buy drops prices on Apple's MacBook Pros with Retina display for 1-day gifting event
Best Buy on Sunday announced that it is cutting prices on Apple's entire lineup of MacBook Pros
with Retina display as part of its 24 hour Holiday Gifting Sale. [Update: MacMall has matched and
beat Best Buy's pricing on most models]
The sale, which runs through midnight, knocks up to $89 off the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina and
up to $129 off the 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina — in each case yielding the lowest prices on these
models currently available. The discounts are also the steepest since cyber shopping week, which
has left most of Apple's reseller partners without stock of 80% of the MacBook Pro Retina lineup
since then. Best Buy was reflecting immediate availability of all 5 standard retail configurations as
of press time and is guaranteeing delivery by December 24th.
