I'm on the East coast so I havn't seen the PacBell ads. Bell Atlantic's offer only good through 4/30 suggests that the offer is only a teaser, which is a turn-off as costs will increase after you're hooked into 128K.

It looks like 3COM might be doing something with their ISDN adapters with players like PacBell and Bell Atlantic. The RBOCS probably look at ISDN as a defensive competitive weapon only to be deployed where and when they are attacked.

It seems like the franchised telcos would be satisfied if we were to stay with rotary dial instruments.
