Z, so you think that the inclusion of God in the Pledge is unconstitutional because it somehow "forces" a religion on our schoolchildren. Meanwhile, it's clear to me that Michael Newdow wants to force atheism onto schoolchildren, starting with his own daughter.

Saying that God "offends" you or that schoolchildren are somehow too impressionable to discuss religion are very weak arguments. The same logic can be applied to a lot of different things, such as dress codes (especially if you have Muslim students around), condoms, sex education, the war in Iraq, etc. Like it or not, you are bound to offend someone or push some religion's point-of-view over another.

I only brought up the motives of Newdow to make this point.
