Kerry will close any gap with Bush quickly as soon as the race begins. Even back in November when Bush over-ran Democrats with his Iraq War machine, only 45% of voters exit polled said they would vote for Bush. And many of those will change their minds as the economy continues to tank and tank and tank. But assuming there's no major third party candidate and Kerry runs with a moderate southerner, Bush will have to do a lot better than 45%. It will be a tough race but I am confident Kerry will prevail. He is a much stronger candidate than Gore was.
