Bruce, re: indicators having different scales can't be used for crossovers to generate signals. I agree.

What was a crossing today can move to a different day with a different scale. This was true, because MSWIN slid the scales over time (win max/min for the window being viewed).

Unfortunately, locking the scales over the full range of data, )based on min and max values of each indicator) typically doesn't show what Bill was talking about within a (say) two month period.
I tried to convert the indicators based on HHV and LLV for a 28-day period for both indicators. This was an attempt to mimic the way MSWIN scales a 28-day window on the screen. The result was not usable.

Your suggestion of an oscillator scaled 0/100 or -50/+50 will be stable because the central line of the oscillator maps with no adjustment over time between the two indicators. I don't believe that the visual effect seen with BradCCI, Brad-Std will necessarily be there - but I'll explore a bit further.
