He misses a coupla key points. The tactics used in Somalia play completely different if our folks had tanks. General Boykin's THIRD request for tanks was still sitting on SecDef Les Aspin's desk when our folks were slaughtered. The first two had been previously denied because he and Clinton did not want to imprint that large of a power presence. Armed UAV's are already a reality.
