GM - A more complete article about the Samsun agreement: ssdweb01.storage.ibm.com Yeah, sounds as if IBM has put up a LOT of money to build this OEM MR biz. What caught my eye was <<IBM expects to ship more than one million MR heads to Samsung this quarter and several million additional heads by the end of 1997>> especially when I saw this: ssdweb01.storage.ibm.com Looks like they missed on the timing? I sure hope so(long RDRT) and then: dljdirect.com. Note the wording <<Read-Rite has been selected as the primary supplier for Samsung's SpinPoint desktop MR hard disk drive program>> This is unusual to put it this way. In most PRs they say "a primary" supplier(like the WDC 2.1 announcement). What happened to IBM? Am I reading into this? (I've got a call into Steve Polcyn.) todd
