Fred, I want to believe that valence is that great a deal in the worst way. I read ULBI's and Valence's last 10Qs this morning and you are correct about ULBI operating at a loss so far. However, they are the only ones that I know of that are shipping a product to an OEM. With the lack of an OEM announcment from Valence and all of the management turmoil it must make ULBI more viable in the eyes of most investors. I'm still long but at this point I don't have much choice. PS: If I recall, the first ULBI batteries shipped to Mitsubishi were manufactured on the line while it was still in Florida. Am I wrong? DSW
