Look at today's headlines re AOL's problems and their plan to resolve them - increasing their Internet investment by $350 million, which is up $100 million from the prior announcement of hardware and staff additions.

Now the bulk of that is going into infrastructure addons, not people, so you have got to assume that ASND is a major participant in that investment as the leading supplier of concentrators and allied equipment. But AOL isn't the only factor (just the most vocal or visible) in the game of bulking up to meet demand that is here today, right now, immediate and growing impatient. It wouldn't surprise me if the suppliers aren't shipping by air as fast as they can get product out the door.

I have no doubt that the backlog at ASND is growing significantly on a daily basis even if they don't announce the numbers.

For those who are concerned about the institutional/fund holders, they are sitting tight on their holdings and certainly are not dumping them or else the position of ASND would be very different as of this hour.
Contrary to another's prediction I don't foresee any dumping later on absent a major boo boo by Ascend or someone coming out with the next sliced bread invention, IMHO.
