Any thoughts as to why the Brent- WTI spread has again widened dramatically from $10 at year-end to $19 today? Is it just Iran threats?

Cold weather has certainly increased NG demand in Europe but it should decrease crude demand.

As far as I know, the Seaway reversal is still scheduled for 2Q.

The Syncrude discount is also hard to understand.

$19.50 discount to WTI or $78.00?

If rail to the GOM costs $10 a barrel, that's a very nice margin since Mars Sour is $112 today and Louisiana Light is $114.
