Tuesday August 26 12:12 PM EDT Novell will not comment on IBM speculation SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug 26 (Reuter) - A Novell Inc official declined to comment about Tuesday's speculation that International Business Machines Corp (IBM) may be interested in buying the struggling software company. ``We don't make comments on matters like this,'' said Jonathan Cohen, Novell spokesman. Cohen said a higher profile for Novell since the arrival of new chief executive Eric Schmidt and new products may be contributing to the recent spike in trading of the company's stock. Novell shares were up 1-3/16 at 10-3/16 in heavy trading.
