The flip side of the same coin might be that Sprint is actually trying to incourage TCI and COX to bail out so that it can get a majority holding in Sprint PCS. This will make Sprint PCS stronger and translate into a stronger contract for QCOM.

And as for the Money being raised by QCOM, it might just be to increase manufacturing capacity etc. given their backlogs.

Also, if just one of the analysts is impressed (the probability of which seems high) by the tour, the stock might go up in the short run.
