I thought the union response was suspiciously low key. Maybe because they know there are some illegals among the fired, and they don't want to draw attention to the situation on whole. After all.....they don't want to jeopardise losing what dues they do collect from other workers......illegal or not. OTOH, I would expect to hear a whole lot of noise from the ACLU. In fact I can't believe we haven't heard more from them up to now.
