My sisters and I played cowboys and indians, did marbles, red rover, kick the can and numerous other outdoor play...but I drew the line at frogs, and much of anything to do with dirt...excerpt mud pies....my Mom HATED us to get into the mud pie mix...I'm sure that she knew if we did, she'd have a big mess to clean us up....We once were so bad, she just turned the hose on us, before we could even think of coming in to get a bath.... She was an only child, and we just helped round out her life...<ggg> We didn't have any brothers so it never occurred to me to tell my sons not to do something, (like collect snakes) because it would not have occured to any of us do do that in the first place. Yuk!
