I'd certainly pay more for faster, reliable service. I'm paying $29/month at home for ISDN, but many times it feels like a 300baud modem! If my provider could route messages end-to-end (or almost) on a priveleged, hi-speed backbone, I'd pay $50 or $60/month. Having that quote or intraday chart 30 seconds sooner can make a big difference in where you land in a queue... Daniel, I pay $150/month for a four port cable modem access. The system is designed for businesses although anyone willing to pay can have the access. The point being that as more clients signed up, the backbone to the ISP was inadequate. We now have an OC 3 from UUnet and a two T1 s one from Sprintnet and the other from AGIS. The ISP is now going to add an OC 12 due to a lack of backbone. The ISP can afford the additional bandwidth due to the fees. I was getting 7 mbps per port depending upon the serving sight. As users, grew, 5 mbps is about max until we get the OC 12. The modem is rated up to 10 mbps per port or 40 mbps if all were used to the fullest. <ib> We need more bandwidth Glenn
