ER, Can I ask you to share with us your thoughts on trying to catch these tops? For example, why would you want to try to pick a top in a strong up trend? I do not intend for a moment to be critical. I am genuinely interested in your strategy. In the case of gold/oil, wouldn't it be better to wait for it to be wounded, then wait for a small counter-trend to sell? This is the old idea of letting the appetizer go by, filling up and meat and potatoes, and then getting out before dessert is served.
