And he did - in office.

I guess the sight of the statue of liberty in Tien An Men being crushed under tanks along with the bodies of hundreds of pro-American students didn't affect you as much as it did me. That was also Deng. Perhaps millions of children being executed after being born, some weeks later, as part of their 'birth control' program, didn't phase you either. Deng was also in charge for that. But hey, maybe you made some money on Nike stock. That would make it all OK? I don't think you can believe this. Tell me it's not so.
