it's really a pain if you do not know they are in the area... i remember coming home and blue route closed both ways for 1/2 hour so Bush could go through from airport to king of prussia.. why didn't he take a copter. another time trying to catch a plane years ago in detroit area i got tied up for forty minutes when Gore was going through. now i listen to when bush or kerry are coming into area. last week they were in King of prussia.. then edwards at phoenixville about six miles from me .. both locations. so if have to run down to that area i could be tied up for hours. another time when reagan was running for office he went to cherry hill area. i was at the bar and he was appearing that night.. a secret service guy was having a coke and i found out he was part of the front team.. setting up security around the hotel etc. this was 4pm. so they were already starting to lock down entrances and this was years ago. I wonder if these guys have to pay any pa state income tax for the all days they are working here? might help gov. rendall make his budget.
