I hope that you didn't lose any good colleagues in this reduction. I wish all those who left well on their future endeavors.
As for Intel, though, the difference in 2,500 employees no doubt contributed to the reductions in YoY costs.

Nobody that I know was forced out. Several people chose to leave for various reasons. In every case, their work was distributed among the other Engineers, and they were not replaced. Didn't seem to have a negative impact.
