Marc --Thanks much for the excellent report from the sh/meeting. What you wrote about the possibility of the FDA allowing certain Phase I trials to advance on a fast-track and <<The second prong of their patent estate is the growing number of genes for which they have developed AAV vectors. ....>> are extremely encouraging. {A month or so after I established my long position in Jan. '99, in addition to the prospective gains based on the ongoing and completed trials, there was unsubstantiated talk about a buyout/take-over [in the 30's if I correctly remember]. Monahan's response to you was quite amusing. :) } Your comment on the interpretation of today's news makes sense and is appreciated. Regards, Carol
