I'm reading some of the message traffic on Yahoo and many of the GNBT investors/followers are just as confused as I am. Some of them are opining that it was a massive sweep of all the "stops" that was designed to resolve the short squeeze over the past couple of days. But if that were the case, this stock would immediately be rebounding as those shorts would be suddenly taking long positions, or other big money would be sweeping in. No.. somethings not right here... It's either an SEC/NASD inquiry, or GNBT has performed another financing priced at the current price level. If it's the latter, then I'll probably be buying again. But until I see some further news, this stock is persona no grata in my portfolio. Btw, that 20% haircut was accomplished on 1.1 million shares traded after hours out of 84 million that traded today.
