I wonder if this would apply to all the brokerage firms that have had strong buys on AOL dating back to the 50's.

I guess these guys have to try to build up the price in order to sell their current inventory. Watch for downgrades by these firms once they have sold down/out their AOL inventory.

Is this what Mr.Vinik did when he was pushing MU while selling MU shares?
