Here's an update from our Field Investor poster RRoberts who is attended the San Francisco Telecom Conference.
Congrats to him for his initiative ($1500 US to attend)- we all owe him a Cyber Scotch.

China Telecom 2000 Day 1 report

I spent a grueling day listening to severely technical presentations talking about the intense efforts China is making to bring
their infrastructure into the 21st century, thankfully, I graduated from the Data Communications Institute and understood a lot
of it.
I was the only private investor on the attendee list.
I also spent a good part of the day with Frank Chen and Dr. Robert O'Dell. All I can say is Zi is in the right place at the right
time with the right connections and needed products. I watched chinese telecom professionals scooping up Zi brochures and
watched the positive reactions Zi got. Hopefully Frank will be making an unscheduled presentation tomorrow.
The cell phones are just the beginning of the revenue stream. The set top boxes are going to
be huge. The JV will be even bigger.
I saw Professor Qian Zongjue, Principal senior engineer, Dept. of Science & Technology,
Ministry of Information Industry (who sat in front of me) with a ZI brochure ON TOP of his pile of papers. I saw Frank
work the room.
I personally overheard the positive comments Chinese professionals made about Zi.
I spoke with CEOs, Professors, VPs , and venture capitalists, ALL were enthusiastic about ZI.
The education story is just unfolding.
The acquisition of Bejing Oz is a perfect fit, not only because of the JV with the MOE, but because it also adds The Ministry
of Labor to the list of Ministries that Zi is helping to achieve the Chinese Governments determination to bring the avg. age of
computer literacy down to western levels and to retrain and educate the un and under employed Chinese masses.
I sat next to Dr. O'Dell, who will be leading new product development.
As Lobsinger said in the latest CC profitability is just around the corner.
I believe it.
