Yeah, there has been a good bit of turnover this year. This portfolio used to have 40+ companies and is now down to 25. I will be selling two more on Tuesday. SYY and NSC. The proceeds from all sales have gone into the holdings that are still within the portfolio. The proceeds from Tuesday's sales will be going into SPY. The objective was to have fewer positions but positions of size. It was too difficult to build 40 or 50 holdings when all he can invest is $600 per month. Since this portfolio is going to be limited in the number of holdings held, the position in SPY will be the largest holding and thus provide the diversity I need to market exposure.
