Scott- Greenspan is already trying to "help" by expanding the money supply at an extroadinary rate (thru coupon passes/Fed funds)....I actually think he needs to NOT use the last bullet in his gun (rate cut(s))...the market has got to regain its confidence on it own here...and not rely on Greenspan to bail it out..

It'll be a much more solid, tradeable (maybe even buy-and-hold for a while) if the market can find its legs without Greenspan...who knows? Maybe that's happening today...

There was a bubble. Its getting crushed...don't know when that process ends, but most of the air is out already..
