I'm amazed at the frantic whining of the liberal media. America the dispensable country. That is so funny. For an economy to grow energy if the first required resource. But also as a country scales to the size of the US managing resources becomes important. Computers and smart folks who use computers give the US the edge. In computing and communication infrastructure America is so far ahead of the rest of the nations of the world that the only practical way of slowing the US is in restricting energy. Japan know this as do the the folks in Europe. As they cannot even compete against Ireland that adopts our way are the socialist minded of the world looking for a political way to slow America.
