I agree, but I think it's the uncertainty that's factored in, so any firm result of the trial will boost the stock, I believe. Unfortunately, the trial break just prolongs the period of uncertainty.

However, since this came up in the context of options, a decision in the trial should drop the implied volatility and would harm the value of the options.
